Overview
Where an item was lost decides who holds it. Bags that did not arrive belong to your airline; things left in the building belong to the airport.
A bag that did not arrive
Report it to your airline's handling agent in the arrivals hall before you leave the airport. Claims raised after leaving are harder to pursue.
Something left in the terminal
Contact the information desk with a description of the item, where you think you left it, and the date. Items are held for a limited period.
